Varsity Head Coach Steve Perry

This year we are welcoming Varsity Coach Steve Perry who we are both lucky and greatly excited to have. Steve has coached the JV boys for two years taking their team further than any other JV boys team from Miramonte last year when they won the Bellarmine Tournament. Coach Perry also coached the Lamorinda 16 boys this past summer with Bill Brown. He has enjoyed watching the women's team play in the past and is very excited to have this opportunity to coach us. Before coaching water polo Coach Perry was a very successful baseball coach, coaching OBA baseball for 8 years. Coach Perry managed the 2005 All Star Team in the National Pony Tournament and went to the section championship, this is further than any Orinda team has made it. Coach Perry was named OBA Manager of the year in 2006.

Assistant Varsity Coach Brigitte Donner

Brigitte graduated from Miramonte in 1998. The Lady Mats were North Coast water polo champions her junior year. Team captain senior year, Brigitte received All-American, All-NCS and All-TCAL honors. She also coached a summer club swim team. She graduated from Cal in 2002 with a degree in English, played NCAA water polo and was the president of Pi Beta Phi sorority. After college, Brigitte worked as a legislative aid on Capitol Hill and for the University of Californias Federal Relations Office in Washington, DC. She volunteered at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and for the Helping Our Heroes Foundation. Brigitte graduated from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in May, receiving the Distinguished Service Award. While at Darden, she worked out with the UVA water polo team. In the fall, she will begin work in the San Francisco office of an international marketing consulting firm.

Head Coach Junior Varsity Trevor Rose

Junior Varsity Coach Trevor RoseTrevor graduated from Miramonte in 2001 and was both varsity swimming and water polo team captain. In 2000 he was on the JO's gold medal winning team for Lamorinda, as well as a starter for the West Coast Zone team. He went on to play polo for UC Davis and started my freshman and sophmore year. After knee surgery Trevor moved on to be one of the founding members of the UC Davis Club water polo team that took second in the state championships both years he was on the team. Trevor has also been a long time OPP swimmer, a 4 year head coach of Campolindo Cabana Club, and 2009 Head Coach for Miramonte Swim Club and is 4 years running as the Miramonte HS JV Swimming Coach.

Assistant Coach Jackson Sharf

Assistant Coach Jackson Sharf
Jackson graduated from Miramonte in 2007, and was both varsity swimming and water polo team captain. His team won the NCS Water Polo Championship both his junior year and senior year. As Team captain senior year, Jackson received All-American, All-NCS and was the MVP of the DFAL league as well as the MVP of the team that year. Jacksons Lamorinda team won the Gold Medal in the 2007 Junior Olympics. Jackson is currently a junior at UC Berkeley where he redshirted his freshman year of water polo and is now a member of the CAL club water polo team.
