Palo Alto High School From Highway 101, take Embarcadero Road westbound toward Stanford University. After about 1 1/4 miles, you will pass under Alma Street, and Paly will be on your left. From Highway 280 take Sand Hill Road eastbound for about 2 1/2 miles, and make a right turn on El Camino Real. Drive about 1 mile, and turn left on Embarcadero Road. Paly will be on your right side.
