TEAM MOM PROGRAM This year MLL will have a Team Mom Program. "Team Mom's" will serve as a representative for each team. They will be delivering information to their respective teams during the season such as schedules, opening day schedules, pictures, fundraising, events, and uniform distribution dates and times.

Responsibilities of the Board 1. Make decisions that are in the best interest for all the kids in Mathews Little League 2. Be fare, be firm and be consistent 3. Base decisions on facts 4. Positively support and respect all parents, players, coaches and umpires
Responsibilities of the Coach 1. Be an example for your team in terms of dress, attitude, language, behavior and sportsmanship 2. Learn and teach your team the rules and skills of your sport 3. Plan and use practices and scrimmages so as to maintain interest and improve playing skills 4. Instruct and practice fundamentals to develop the potential of each team member 5. Maintain a positive environment at all times and motivate with praise and encouragement 6. Maintain the dignity and self-respect of each player, official, parent, spectator and opposing coach and team 7. Support the decisions of officials 8. Control yourself and the conduct of your team and fans 9. Take care of and assure return of all equipment 10. Maintain the safety of players in your care at all times 11. Be conscious of injury prevention. Assure that appropriate equipment is worn as necessary 12. Do not allow injured team members to play 13. Remain at the field until each player is safely on their way home 14. Distribute game and practice schedules on a timely basis 15. Be fare, be firm and be consistent
Responsibilities of the Player 1. Practice skills at home to improve 2. Give 100% effort every time you play – regardless of your assignment 3. Be a team player – use your skills in a team effort and always support your team-mates with encouragement 4. Practice good sportsmanship and maintain a positive attitude at all times 5. Learn and abide by the rules 6. Treat all players, coaches, officials and fans with dignity and respect in your speech, attitude, and behavior at all times 7. Keep your head up in defeat and keep your pride under control in victory 8. Have fun and enjoy the game
Responsibilities of the Parent 1. Practice with your child at home to develop their skill level 2. Encourage your child to do their individual best 3. Attend and help out in practices whenever possible 4. Practice and promote “Good Sportsmanship” 5. Support the decisions of the officials 6. Know the team schedule and see that your child attends all scheduled games and practices 7. Notify the coach if you child cannot attend a game or practice 8. Be sure your coach is aware of any physical limitations of special needs or your child 9. No coaching from the stands 10. Do not leave your kids at practices or games without making arrangements with your team manager 11.
