Thanks to a very generous Mathews County citizen, our dream for a full-size Junior/Senior baseball field is being accomplished. This field will allow MLL full access for older boys to practice and play games, instead of sharing the high school field!  this new field features a professional dirt/clay basepath with a Bermuda sod infield. Construction will be complete by spring allowing games to be played there THIS YEAR!!!  Many thanks to ALL that have helped get the construction process going. Also, THANK YOU to our donor, as well as Steve Pugh, Chris Denton, Jerry West, Chris Byrns, Billy Cook and others for their assistance in making our dream come true!

Volunteers Needed

Our Little League is a success through volunteers! Mathews Little League depends upon countless volunteers for everything from managing and coaching to umpiring to  field maintenance, fund raising, etc.  Click on the "Handouts" tab to fill out a volunteer form.  All help is welcome! .

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather, the Manager or TeamMom of your team should contact you to let you know whether or not your games have been postponed. If we know enough in advance we will post field closings here.
