Congratulations to Johnny Masopust for completing the Tour of Colorado Series in La Junta. We are sure he will be the first of many Mat Burners to achieve this goal. Tour of Colorado Series
The PPWL would like to introduce a brand new tournament series within our regular season tournament schedule called the “Tour of Colorado” series. This exciting medal series is an opportunity to provide wrestlers with a unique custom medal from each of the tournaments specified within the “Tour of Colorado” series by promoting clubs and wrestlers to wrestle against different competition throughout the state. The series will be run on a three year cycle, meaning your wrestler can win the series over the next three years without having to travel to each one of the Regions in one year.Each region specified tournament within the “Tour of Colorado” will have a custom specific regional medal given as the award for placing top 4 in that bracket. Once all of the different medals in those specified regions are achieved your wrestler will have a puzzle of medals that make up the State of Colorado. On top of that, as kids achieve this, we would like to highlight the winners names on the PPWL website.

- Northeastern (Snakebite Challenge / Ft Morgan) - January 12, 2013
- Eastern (Unfinished Business / Elizabeth) - February 16, 2013
- Southeastern (The Growler / La Junta) - March 9, 2013
- Front Range (Wolfpack Rumble / CSU Pueblo) - January 19, 2013
- Western (Gold Struck / Cripple Creek) - March 16, 2013
