Wednesday, February 15 Rhino Wrestling Club 14 Tennent Rd, Morganville. Matawan wrestlers are given a 30% discount is signed up before April 1st. That includes 4 nights a week of wrestling plus one wrestling specific strength training session. If you want to win you must train.
The Future (The keys to Success) A sport like Wrestling takes more than in-season Dedication. Hours must be put in over the Spring,Summer and Fall months in order to see good results. A normal Varsity season consists of 25 Bouts lasting at most 7 Minutes and :30 seconds (in double overtime). Thats enough time to improve , but is it enough to be good or great? The goal of a wrestler should be to seek out competition in the "off-season." Wrestlers from our Varsity line-up this year spent their Spring Summer and fall(some as many as 4 times a week) preparing for the 2004/2005 season. Here are a few tips for you that may help you on the way to becoming a better wrestler: * Enter Tournaments (Double your number of Matches per year) * Join a club (Good Competition forces improvement) * Go to Camp (Learn new moves,add them to your arsenal!) * Drill,Drill,Drill (All year long) Shore Thing Wrestling Club "Vinny's" Predator Wrestling club Spring and Summer sessions available |
