MASA POLICY ON THUNDER AND LIGHTENING
No playing until 30 minutes after lightening was last seen OR 30 minutes after thunder was last heard. If you can hear the thunder, you are within reach of lightning. Because there is no pavilion, players and families should be directed to their cars. Do not take time to take down goals, because handling metal increases a person’s risk of being struck by lightening. Everyone hates a delay, but the kids’ safety comes first. Thanks for all your help and cooperation!
U10 Boys Spring Tournament will be held May 31st from 3 PM until 6 PM after the regular games. See your coach for details.
EURO 2008
Plan to join us on Saturday, May 24th (Memorial Day Weekend) for a fun day of soccer and the Annual General Meeting.
Found:
A gold bracelet and a pair of silver earrings (one is broken) on the path up to the Upper soccer field - contact Truby Buccille at tabuccille@dappolonia.com
Woman's sunglasses - They will be at the Concession booth on Saturday.
Pair of little girls eyeglasses in the MCP parking lot. They were in a black case with “Silhouettes” on it and they have lavender earpieces. They appear to have been run over as the case is crushed but the glasses are still in pretty good shape. They were put in the shed.
Game Schedules are posted
Practice Schedules are posted

Welcome to the MASA web site
Come here often for useful information about soccer schedules and upcoming events, as well as team news and other MASA goings-on. Here's a little bit about who we are, and how you can be a part of our organization.
The Murrysville Area Soccer Association (MASA) is a youth soccer league made up of children aged 4 through 18. We are a volunteer organization. The association is a member of the PA West Soccer Association .
Our primary objective is to provide a fun and rewarding soccer experience for every child in our organization, while teaching teamwork, dedication, and developing soccer skills appropriate to each level of player. MASA currently has over 600 players making up more than 50 teams. Children begin their soccer experience in the Under-6 Co-ed league, called the Pee-Wee league. They then move on to the U-8 and U-10 boys and girls recreational league teams. As players' skills improve, they continue in the U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-19 boys and girls travel leagues, with teams that compete at various skill levels appropriate to the assigned players.

Email us for information on how you or your child can become part of MASA.
In-house and Travel Soccer Information
Register early to avoid the late charge. Players will be placed on teams and contacted by their coaches by the middle of the month prior to the start of the season with practice and game information and schedules.
Children who will be under 10 on July 31, 2006 are eligible to play in-house soccer, and should register with the Fall 2006 In-House registration form, which can be downloaded from the Registration Forms tab of this web site, or obtained at the Murrysille Community Library or Franklin Regional School offices. Information about each of the age-groups can be found at the Age-groups tab of this web site.
Players who will be 10 or older on August 1, 2006 will be placed on a travel team, and should use the Fall 2006 travel registration form. Under-10 boys and girls who have been selected to play on the U-10 travel team should also register with this travel registration form.
