We want to wish OUR teams GOOD LUCK as they advance on to ASA State Games! Our 12U & 14U teams will play in San Diego beginning July 17th and our 16U team playing in Palmdale July 10th.

We are pleased to announce that Pico Rivera M.L.G.S. has officially been relocated from the Northern District to our new home with LA/SO BAY District! ASA has realigned their boundries for 2009 and MLGS was one of the many leagues to be moved. We are looking forward to a great relationship with LA/SO Bay leagues and will miss our old friends with Northern District. Our new District Commishioner is Bruce Sawyer and JoAnn Vincent.
Our new partners in LA/SO Bay District are:
** La Mirada, Downey, San Pedro, Torrance, Redondo Sunset, North Torrance, Bellflower, Cerritos, El Segundo, Long Beach, Los Altos, Norwalk, Palos Verdes, Paramount, Santa Monica, Wilshire and also newly added (along with MLGS) Pico Fastpitch & Montebello.
 
NO Drinking & Smoking
Pico Rivera M.L.G.S. does not condone drinking of alcoholic beverages at any league games. Smoking at our fields must be done outside the school gates.
Please remember No Smoking or Alcohol on School Grounds.
The League Board Members appreciate your cooperation.
M.L.G.S. HUMOR
A little girl was trying to raise $100 for her softball team. She prayed for two weeks but nothing happened. Then she decided to write a letter to the Lord requesting $100.
When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to the Lord, USA, they decided to send it to the President of the United States. The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little girl a $5 bill.
The President thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little girl. The little girl was delighted with the $5 and sat down to write a thank-you note to the Lord, which read:
Dear Lord, Thank you very much for sending me the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington, DC and as usual, those jerks deducted $95.
