MARTELLA'S LOSES SLUGFEST
Martella's Pharmacy dropped their first game in the National AAABA Tournament, falling to New Brunswick 12-9 on Wednesday at the Point Stadium.

Matt Gehret took the loss for Martella's. Connor Henderson got the win for New Brunswick and Brian Schroeder picked up the save.

Martella's fell behind 6-0, but scored two in the top of the fourth. New Brunswick added two in the bottom of the inning to make it 8-2. Martella's scored five in the seventh to cut the lead to 8-7, but New Brunswick put the game away with four runs in the bottom of the frame.

Chris Rasky went 3-4 with two doubles, a triple, two runs, and three RBI's. Sam Watkins went 2-5 with a double, a run, and two RBI's. Jordan Kaufman went 2-4 with a triple, two runs and an RBI.
