MARTELLA'S FALLS SHORT
Martella's Pharmacy fell just short of a trip to the National AAABA Tournament, losing 7-5 to Delweld on Monday in Game Five of the AAABA League Championship Series at the Point Stadium.

Martella's jumped out to a 5-1 lead, but Delweld scored twice in the sixth and once in the seventh to cut the lead to 5-4. Delweld scored three in the eighth and Martella's was unable to rally in the ninth inning.

Ryan Zamiskie (6-2) suffered the loss in relief for Martella's. Bobby Carbaugh picked up the win in relief for Delweld.

Mikie Pelekanos tripled, scored, and drove in two runs. Chris Rasky had two hits and scored a run. Jordan Kaufman added two hits and an RBI.
