Ray Stenger begins his 10th season as Third Base Coach, bringing with him 23 years of AAABA coaching experience.
Stenger began as an assistant coach with Hilltop Boys Club from 1987-1994. He then joined Paul Knupp's staff with Wise Trailer Sales from 1996-2000. He was an assistant coach on the 1998 National AAABA Tournament team.
Stenger was an assistant coach at Bishop McCort High School from 1994-2002. He helped guide the Crushers to the 1999 District VI Championship and State Quarterfinals. Stenger is currently an assistant coach at Westmont High School.
Ray is employed by Appalachian IU8 as a personal aide. Ray and his wife, Anne, have one daughter, Mary Elizabeth.
