Team Preparation Notes
- Each Student must be fully processed by the MHS AD to skate: valid physical, $200 annual fee, MHS Athletics Handbook form.
- Full hockey equipment with a colored and attached mouth guard.
- Check your equipment now. Use your mouth guard every time. No concussions.
- Game Uniform: Black Helmets/Black Hockey Pants with team provided jersey and socks.
- School colors are Green/White/Black. No pink. No loose jewelry.
- There will be an off ice team meeting after Monday’s practice to review:

- Good communication and coordination habits are essential to the MHS student athlete’s success.
- Plan your activities. Be on time and prepared.
- Call or text your coach or activity leader when you cannot make an event.
- Plan your winter season now. The game and practice schedule is now online.

- MHS Girls Hockey must be the #1 priority sports activity of the winter season.

- Obey the law and do not associate with those that do not obey the law.
- Academic Eligibility MIAA Rule #58
- Academics come first. Get help if you need it. Grades will be monitored in season.
- Physical Examinations MIAA Rule #56
- Each Student must turn in a copy of a valid school physical to play.
Planning Notes
§ The MHS Girls Hockey Alumni Game is Friday 6:00 PM 11/27/09 at the Boch Ice Center Dedham, MA.
§ The team will be participating and singing at the Marshfield Community Christmas at 9:00 PM on Friday night 11/27/09 at the Daniel Webster School. Please bring a Santa hat to wear with the team travel uniform.
§ The 2009/2010 MHS Girls Hockey Team will be announced at a team meeting after the first Friday practice.
§ The team will be welcomed at a 6:00 PM Team Pizza Party at Famous Pizza in Marshfield on Friday 12/4/09.
§ MHS Winter Sports Kickoff at 6:30 PM on Tuesday 12/9/09 in the MHS Gym. It is a mandatory meeting for student athletes and parents.
