The Mars Baseball Association wish to express our deepest sympathy to
the family and friends of Adams Township's Assistant Police Chief, Ed
Brooks, who passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 2nd.
We are grateful for Mr. Brooks' dedication to keeping our kids and community safe; he will be truly missed.

Fall Ball Registrations announced
Walkin Registrations for Fall Ball are complete. We are still accepting registrations for Bronco and Pony. We have a waiting list for Farm, Minor, and Colt. Mail-in registrations must be received by August 10, 2009 and must include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) in order to receive your raffle tickets. Forms and payment should be sent to: Mars Baseball Association 210 Cliffside Dr. Mars, PA 16046What is Fall-Ball? Fall ball is an opportunity for kids ages 6 to 17 to play additional baseball during the fall months. The main emphasis of fall ball is as an instructional league. Children are given the opportunity to play in the age group they will be playing in the spring. When is Fall-Ball? Fall-Ball games are played in the months of September and October. Practices will start in late August. Games are played mostly on the weekends, but you may play a few evening games during the week. Where do you play? Fall-Ball is a travel league and will be played throughout the North Hills Area. Teams competing in the league include Pine Richland, Cranberry, Evans City, Economy and Zelienople. Home games scheduled in Mars will be played at our current facilities depending on the age group. What are the ages? The leagues are broken down into the following four age groups: Farm 6 & 7 & 8 (Coach Pitch) Minor 9 & 10 Year Olds (Kid pitch) Bronco 11 & 12 Year Olds Pony 13 & 14 Year Olds Senior 15 through 17 Year Olds Your age group is based on your birth date as of April 30, 2010. Last year we competed with 4 Farm, 2 Minor Teams, 1 Bronco Teams and one Pony Team. The number of teams this year will depend on the number of kids participating. Mars 11A teams wins Pine-Richland 11A Tournament
The Mars 11A team beat Plum 6-3 to win the Pine-Richland 11A tournament. The Mars team went 5-0 in the tournament. Congratulations to all of the boys and coaches!
