Congratulations to the Lindbergh Flyers on their third consecutive Marquette PreSeason Tournament Championship. Lindbergh defeated the DeSmet Spartans 5-2.

The Marquette Mustangs will be hosting our 18th annual pre-season Varsity tournament in September.
Current plans are for an eight to ten team tournament divided into two brackets. Each team will be guaranteed three games. The top four teams after the first three games against divisional opponents will advance to the Semi-Finals for the right to play in the Championship game or the Third-Place game. The top four teams will play five total games. The tournament fee is $1200.
Games are currently scheduled to be played at the Hardee’s IcePlex in Chesterfield. The play dates for the tournament have been extended and the tournament will run from September 7th, 2012 through September 24th, 2012.
Updates on the tournament schedule and participating teams will be posted on the tournament website as they become available.

The 2011 Marquette Pre-Season Varsity Tournament Championship Game and Consolation Game were played on Saturday, September 16th, 2011.
In the Championship Game, the Lindbergh Flyers defeated the Marquette Mustangs by a final score of 5-1.
In the Consolation Game, the Rockwood Summit Falcons defeated the Westminster Wildcats by a final score of 3-2.
Congratulations to all the teams and thanks for a great tournament!
