Marquette Mustangs: Welcome

Welcome to the Marquette Mustang Football Booster Club! Parent's, Alumni & Fans supporting our Mustangs!

News and Events:
2nd Annual Golf Tournament: Great turnout and net proceeds ~$4800.00!

2008 Mouse Races: Yet another successful fundraiser thanks to the hard work and dedication of many! Profit was ~$4500.00. Thanks to all who participated!!

Concession Stand Help Needed: The Mustangs first home football games will begin the first week of September.  That means that we need to get all of our concession workers slots filled quickly.  Many of you signed up to help out with concessions at the Football BBQ, which was great.  But I still have several openings for workers.  So please check your calendars and let me know when you can help out.  You can either email me at mamagwm@aol.com or call me at 636-207-0352.  The Football concessions is one of our biggest fund raisers.  But is takes a big group effort from all our parents to make it happen.  That includes all of our Junior Mustangs parents.  We have many Junior Mustang parents helping with concessions every year.

(I have put the full schedule out with the volunteers that have already signed up.  If you are anything like me, I thought that you could use this to remind yourself of what day you signed up for on last Saturday.)

Workers need to be at the concession stand at 3:45 for all JV & Freshmen games.  Workers need to be at the concession stand at 6:00/6:15 for Varsity games.  If you are cooking food for Varsity games you might need to be there at 5:30.)

Freshmen and JV games begin at 4:00 and Varsity games begin at 7:00

Pre-Game Meals for Varsity Home/Away Games: Carol Greenaway and Nancy Warrick are chairing the pasta dishes. Carol and Nancy will have specifics as a diet will need to be followed for football training. The pasta dinners for varsity and coaches will be held at approx 3:15pm before the games in the Commons.

JV and Freshman teams will be having post-game meals and snacks for away games only! These meals and snacks will be coordinated by the class reps--Kim Bartlett is JV class rep and Joan Rejda-Heath is the Freshman class rep. Parents can help by donating needed items or helping to hand out to the players. Please ask your parent reps what you can do to help!

JV Team on Friday Night Varsity Games: The entire JV team will NOT be dressing out for Friday games. If they are asked to dress, they will also be expected to attend Saturday practices. Other JV players will not need to dress or show up for Saturday practices. Saturday practices are on the schedule (8:00am - 10:00am).

Varsity Gold Cards: All teams will sell Varsity Gold cards again this year. Coach Thornhill expects the players to sell the cards and not expect the parents to buy them. Varsity Gold sales begin August 13th and end August 22nd.
