Marlton continued its good play this past weekend, but this week they were able to find the net. Great job lightning!! Keep shooting.

Mixed Weekend for Marlton

The Lightning struck twice on Saturday to beat Medford 2-0 in State Champ series action, but then got smoked 2-0 at Marlboro in MAPS competition on Sunday. We need to work at consistently playing at a high level.

Marlton Winless in 2 Games on Sunday

The lightning tied FC Delco 1-1 and didn't play well in the second half of game 2 while losing to the NJSA Gunners 5-0, but the kids and parents still had plenty to smile about because THE PHIGHTIN PHILS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!

Lets go Phillies.....

The Lightning traveled to Matchfit and played well in a 2 - 1 win. Great job team.

Lightning Lose at Toms River
The Lightning struggled in the second half in losing to Toms River 2-1. The team needs to keep working to improve our play. The season is young yet.

MAPS Season Has a Successful Start
Lightning played very well in the heat Sunday and won both games. Marlton beat the Den of Lions 7-1 and then came from behind to beat Massapequa 3-2 with seconds left. Great effort Lightning!!!!

East Brunswick Labor Day Tournament Results

Great job at the East Brunswick tournament Lightning. The boys played very well against 3 quality teams this past weekend and ended up with 2 wins and one loss. We are improving as a team with each game. Keep up the good work.

Marlton Plays Well at Kick-off Classic

The Lightning won both Saturday games against Bayside and HMMS to put them into the semifinals on Sunday. The semifinal game against Century United was well played by both teams but resulted in an 2-1 overtime loss. Great job boys on a fine weekend.

Let The Season Begin!!!!

We want to welcome the new players to the team. We look forward to watching this team learn and compete this year. There will be a lot of hard work, but there will be a lot of fun as well.

The practice and scrimmage schedules are posted. Once the tournament and regular season schedules are realeased, this web site will be updated.

Marlton Wins 2007 Central Jersey Invitational Tournament
Congrats Lightning on a dominating performance at Fort Dix. Marlton scored 18 goals and gave up only 3 in winning 4 games and tying once. Great job boys!!

Need More Digital Pictures for Web Site Album
Do any parents have digital team or player pictures from games and tournaments that they would like to have posted in the Album section. I have added the 2004 State Championship run pictures, but I know there are more out there. Send them to Don Staudt if you have some.
