So it's true.... little leaguers don't ever grow up, they just grow old... *grin* Does that mean I'm going to be webmaster for a bunch of old ladies playing basketball someday because they just won't hang up their uniforms?

Congrats on being a spotlight site. Your site has a lot of information and great ideas. Maybe someday we'll get famous like ya'll. :)

Terry, Good luck to your team this coming season. No one appreciates more than I do all the work you've done for the team and the league. You're a class guy and your team reflects that, well, most of them do anyway. Kick some ass ands get back up to the A division so I'm not up here rotting alone. Have a great season. Is this good enough? When do we get our $20 in beer money??

Tom

Hey terry, its Ed. I havent received a response from my letter to you, so im writing this in your book so i can get some feedback, whatever it may be.As i wrote "Terry, didnt have a chance to see what was up on the site. I received a call directing me to your site to see what u had wrote." I was glad you guys came out to play, despite the cold. As far as this TRIPLE PLAY stuff, this might have been bill getting us all tuned up. I dont know? Its not like me to pass negative comments like "were going to kick the A's asses" or such. In response to the TGIF comment, i thought it was pretty funny, but innapropriate. That game was the first time weve all played together as a team, so they wanted to "bring it in" for a cheer. Did that bother you. As i stated, i complemented ken on his outing as well as your whole unit in my email to you. I also wrote that i used every pitcher "I" had as well, i batted around my lineup, and moved people "in and out".As i wrote to you I still do not have anything negative to state about you or your team despite what u wrote about the Yanks. I thought it was a positive outing for us both. "I found my starters and my backups". So If at all possible i would still like a response, to my first email to you dated 3-21-02. Again I wish you Good Luck in 2002.

Terry Annese, A's Manager
Marlton A's Baseball Club

Apparently in response to my comments posted today on the Tri-State NABA website Guestbook (also printed below), the objectionable comments made by their league officials about our game Sunday have been removed. Sadly, my Guestbook entry was also removed from their site (an attempt to suppress free expression of opinion) because they did not want to have any negative stuff on their Guestbook as it would 'look bad to potential sponsors'.....comments anyone???

Terry Annese, A's Manager
Marlton A's Baseball Club

I'll be frank and to the point. I am insulted at the treatment given to this week's SPRING TRAINING scrimmage between the Marlton A's and the Gloucester Yankees on the NABA website. From the rumors out of Triple Play that the Yankees were out to kick our ass, to the little "rah, rah" pregame group hug (as if you were a bunch of waiters celebrating someone's birthday at TGI Friday's), and now the over-hyped b.s. story of the game on your website; you have ebbed away whatever respect I had for your efforts to establish your new league. I agreed with Ed to play a spring scrimmage as a favor because I did not want to have any hard feelings over the events of last season. WAKE UP NABA PEOPLE!! Stop beating your chest and put the pom poms away!! It was a scrimmage!! I don't know what your game plan was, but in case you were wondering, I started three 3rd string position players, used 5 pitchers, moved players in and out of the lineup and left several players home, given the long trip and the cold weather.   As I told my club before, during and after the game, in the middle of March, I am only concerned with my pitchers getting their work in and having nobody get hurt - I could care less of the final score. Congratulations for being the kings of St. Patrick's Day, but unfortunately championships are won in September.
