Marblehead Softball Little League: Safety
First Aid and CPR/AED Certification
Marblehead Softball Little League is committed to providing a safe environment for all of our Players, Volunteers and Spectators at all of our events. Therefore, following the recommendation of the national Little League organization, Marblehead Softball is requiring all coaches to be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
Rather than try to organize multiple trainings for all coaches, the Board of Directors has agreed to allow the coaches to take the training courses online. All trainings should be completed on the following website: http://www.onlinecprcertification.net/.
Once the trainings have been completed, a copy of the certification must be given to Greg Lydon, MSLL Safety Officer (GregL@MarbleheadSoftball.com). All Certifications mustbe completed and turned in no later than March 17, 2012. No Volunteer will be allowed to coach without the league receiving copies of their certifications. There will be no exceptions made to this rule.
If you already have a valid CPR/AED or First Aid Certification, a copy of your certificate must be given to the League Safety Officer. Those of you that were trained last year in CPR/AED by the league, your certifications are still valid for the upcoming season and you are only required to take the First Aid Training.

- If you need only CPR/AED: Go to http://www.onlinecprcertification.net/ and click on the BLS CPR Course and follow the instructions on the website from there. The cost is about $14.99.
- If you need both CPR/AED and First Aid: Go to http://www.onlinecprcertification.net/ and click on the Combine Courses Discount. You want to take both the Basic First Aid and BLS CPR Course. The cost is $24.99.
