Magicians uses big fourth inning to beat Wakefield, 7-1

Magicians rolled over Wakefield 7-1 on Saturday at Route one after a four-run rally in the fourth inning. Tara Deschenes had a hot bat for Magicians. Deschenes went 2-2 and scored one run. She singled in the second and fourth innings. Emily Promise got the win for Magicians. She allowed one run over three innings. Promise struck out three, walked none and gave up three hits.

 Magicians take out Route one with help from Deschenes, 2-1

Tara Deschenes went 1-1 as Magicians took home a 2-1 victory over Route one in four innings on Saturday. She singled in the third inning. Kaylyn Countie got the win in relief for Magicians. Countie pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed one run. In the first inning, Route one pushed across its only run of the day on an error. After a quick strike from Route one, Magicians responded with one run in the first. Magicians scored on an error. Magicians stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring one run on a groundout by Ana Vainas.

 University of New Hampshire Softball Clinic

The UNH Softball Team and Coaches will be holding a clinic for all Little League Players and Coaches. This is a great opportunity to learn from the coaches and players on UNH Wildcats. The clinic will take place this Saturday April 13th at 10am to noon. The location for the clinic will be at Vet 1, MVMS. Players and coaches please bring your equipment.
