	<font face="Comic Sans MS" size=2>Kansas City, MO--MCC-Maple Woods is proud to announce the opening of the new 10,000 square foot sports training center.  The facility will house batting cages, field turf surface and clay pitching mounds.  The STC will be open for the community as well as for the nationally recognized baseball/softball programs.  <br>

"The STC will allow both of our teams to practice indoors during the winter months which will prepare us like never before for the spring season," commented head baseball coach Marty Kilgore.<br>

The facility will also be available to the community all year long.  The STC has several programs available for individuals and team practice.  Private instruction will be available from the Maple Woods coaching staff allowing individuals of all ages to improve their game.
