Sponsorship Opportunities with Maple Woods Baseball
Maple Woods community College has been providing quality educational services to the community for 30 years. During most of that time, we have also been providing students with an outstanding athletics program consisting of women's softball and men's baseball. A large number of student-athletes have been able to combine their love of sports with their desire to pursue higher educations.

The goal of the athletics program is to not only develop strong athletes but to also develop academically strong students. The performance of the baseball team these past four years indicates our commitment to both of those goals:

*Nationally Ranked (top 25) 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005
*World Series Contender: Ranked 5th nationally in '98
*Regional XVI Champions in '97, '98, '99, '01, '03, '04, '05
*17 athletes have been recruited to play professional baseball since 1997.
*100% of Sophomores moved on to next collegiate level in past two years
*Cumulative GPA over the past two years was 2.88

The community college provides funding for this program, as well as some scholarship money. However, those of you who are involved with sports know that there are always unmet needs. The athletic department is particularly interested in increasing the amount of scholarship funds available to the players.
