Toys for Kids Tournaments
Mansfield Toys for Kids Tournaments:
November 20-22 16U
December 4-6 8U and 12U
December 11-13 10U and 14U
This event is hosted to collect toys to help the less fortunate at Christmas time.
All players and coaches are required to bring a toy of a minimum $10 value. We will be collecting the toys at check-in.
We aks that all brackets with the exception of 8U bring teenager appropriate items (8U has been supplied a list for younger kids)

Toys will be distributed to All Church Home in Fort Worth.
Hygeine items will be distributed to the Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth.
This is the 6th year we have hosted the events and have increased it from one weekend when we first started to three weekends. The past two years we have collected approximately $10000 in toys per year plus the hygiene items for the Night Shelter.
We will be delivering the toys on 12/14 and teams, players, coaches and parents are welcome. Those in attendance will tour the facility then unload the toys. We will be meeting at McKnight Park at 4:30 on Monday, 12/14 and plan to be at All Church Home in Fort Worth by 5:45PM.

Sharpen Your Score Keeping Skills
We recently held a class to learn how to keep the offical scorebook. For league games the home team is responsible for supplying an official scorekeeper and the visiting team is responsible for keeping the scoreboard.

Pay Your Team's Tournament Fees Online
Tournament fees for our tournaments are normally due a week prior to the tournament start. This enables us to confirm what teams are entered and schedule games, umpires and workers accordingly. Teams must always enter our ASA tournaments at www.RegisterASA.com (VTD). You may pay your tournament fee online by clicking the link below and going to the payment website: Click here to pay online There is an additonal fee charged by Active.com for handling the transaction. If your team drops from the tournament after online payment the transaction fee will not be refunded. If your team drops the tournament after games have been posted you are not elgible for a fee refund.

MGSA Site Wants Your Softball Photos!
MGSA would like to place your softball photos on the website! Throughout the season, as you take photos of your girls, we'd like to feature them on the MGSA site. The only way we can do that is if you send them in to our Publicity Director. While we can't guarantee that we can use every submitted photo, we will try to use as many photos as possible on the site, and some photos may be forwarded on to local media outlets.
What we're looking for: * Opening Ceremonies * * Game Shots * * Practice Shots * * pictures of the girls just having fun as a team *
