Manistee High School Softball: Welcome

2012 Season is well on its way, there is pitching/catching going on at Jefferson on Mon and Wed, 4-6pm.  Also Batting cages are open on the weekends, contact Coach Denise for times.

It is beginning to look like a great season...

Manistee High School girls softball focuses on providing high school girls with the opportunity to participate in competitive fastpitch softball, build leadership skills, self-esteem, self-confidence, and to become a good athlete and a valuable citizen.

Seems like just yesterday we were cheering on the Lady Chippewas to their first ever Regional Win in the history of MHS Softball.  Wow time flies when you are winning...

It is with sad hearts that we have to say good bye to our Coaches Paul Maksym and Steve Bernache, who have resigned from their postitions as coaches for the Varsity Softball Teams. But do not fear for they are still going to be around to help with off season open gym, and of course be there to cheer us on to more Victories for our Ladys.

Also want to let you know that soon there will be open gym at Jeffereson Schools on Mon and Wed afternoons from 4pm to 6pm, those who want to come and freshen up your game can do so then. We will look forward to seeing you.

I want to let you all know that I have taken over the web site from Deb M, and am learning all the in and outs of the pages.  So bare with me I will get it...
