The summer is winding down and its almost time for school, and that means it almost Fall Ball season.
We plan on having two Fall Ball sign-ups on Saturday August 1st and 8th from 9 AM to 12 Noon at South Little League.

  • Practices will begin Friday August 21st
  • Games will begin early September and last until the end of October (weather permitting).
  • We anticipate games against area leagues such as Bedford, Goffstown, Manchester East, Manchester North, Manchester West and Windham.
  • The games will be played Friday Night, Saturday afternoon.
  • Registration Fee will be $25 and will cover the expense of a South Fall Ball Shirt and Hat.
  • Players between 6 and 11 are eligible to participate
  • We will be having in house skills and scrimmaging for our younger kids
  • Players 8-11 will be assigned to either the Major or Minor team based on skill level.
If for some reason, you cannot make either registrations, don’t worry, just let me know you are still interested.
Also, if you are interested in coaching let me know. We will have multiple teams and it’s always great to have lots of help. This is also a good opportunity for newer coaches to learn as well!
Fall ball is entirely about having fun and skill development.  All players, regardless of skill or experience, are welcome!
Thank you,

End of Season games

In case you missed the Major playoffs, we had 2 great games.  We had Knights of Columbus vs. Provencher on Friday and Saturday.  On Friday, Knights went ahead 1-0 in the 4th inning.  Provencher battled back with a home run and onto a 6-3 win forcing a final game Saturday.  On Saturday, Knights again went ahead early but Provencher was able to tie the game.  After 11 innings, Provencher pushed another run across for the win.   Congratulations to both teams for some outstanding baseball !!

In  our Minors division, we also had some great baseball.  There has been some close games and fantastic pitching.  After the round robin games were completed, it was Hannaford vs. A Market moving onto the finals.  Be sure to come and watch Monday and Tuesday (Thur if needed) to see who will take the championship.

Once the Minor playoff are completed, selected players will be practicing for the Minor All-Star game being played on the Major field Friday June 26 at 7pm.  Players should arrive at 6:15pm

Our AA Farm division has also wrapped up their regular season and now are preparing for the Farm All-Star game being played on Saturday June 27 from 9am-noon. This game has been a tradition at South for many years and is a ton of fun!

And let's not forget about our T-Ball division and the future of South Little League.  All players have learned so much with some players taking live pitches to prepare for next year.

Be sure to come watch some great baseball being played and root for your favorite team!

Opening day is only two days away.  Opening ceremony begins at 9:30 am.  Please have all players arrive by 9:00 am.  Players will gather at the farm field with their teams.  Parking is going to be tight on Saturday.  If you park in the old Stop n Shop parking lot please be sure to park in a parking space and not along the fence by the field. Candy money is due to your team parent on Saturday.    It would be very helpful if you could change your coins and small bills to larger bills before you turn it in.=========================================

Manchester South Little League

19th Annual Golf Tournament

 Friday May 22th, 2015

Candia Woods Golf Course, Candia, NH

It’s that time again; time to start planning another great day of golf and festivities. This will be the 19th year of our tournament, due in large part to your generous support. The tournament was the brainchild and yearly obsession of my dad, Lou Ferendo. He dreamed it up 19 years ago. It has since been rededicated the Lou Ferendo Memorial Golf Classic to benefit Manchester South Little League, in his honor. The event will once again be held on the Friday before Memorial Day, May 22, 2015 at Candia Woods in Candia, NH.

Lou was extremely proud of his tournaments’ fund raising successes for South Little League and the funding it enabled for many special projects such as lights on the major field, modern bathroom facilities, the batting cage, field fencing and more recently, the new sound system. Lou looked forward to this time of year, every year, as he began preparations for the tournament. The 2014 tournament was a huge success, as usual, thanks to the many volunteers and their tireless efforts. Lou would have been proud and of course wouldn’t have missed a beat in asking everyone to come back this year and do it all over again. So, I guess that task falls on our shoulders this year as we start the wheels turning to bring you another day of golf at Candia Woods.

Please join us once again as we continue the annual event that Lou started 19 years ago.  Over 80% of last years participants have been with us since the beginning. The back side of this letter contains the registration form for your foursome. We are also including a sponsorship form. We would appreciate any help you can give us in obtaining additional sponsors. Please ask the members of your foursome to assist us in this important fund raising endeavor.  Thanks in advance for your help and prompt action.

As soon as possible - line up your foursome, fill out the registration form, and return it with payment to the address listed.  If you have any questions please call Rick Ferendo at 623-1185,  Bill Roy at 627-9415, Kevin Ferendo at 785-4410, Alan Beauchemin at 486-9003, or Tom Bozoian at 623-5756 .
