South Little League Winter Workout Program
Manchester South Little League is please to partner with Play Ball Nashua, 9 Congress St, Nashua NH. Play Ball Nashua is offering its annual winter workout program. This 8-10 week program will help the athletes prepare for the upcoming season by working on all the skills needed for aspiring baseball players. Throwing, fielding, hitting, positional play and all other key areas will be covered. Play Ball’s professional staff will facilitate the program. This year's program will be a progressive approach to teaching the players. Each week will progress with different advanced drills and skills. Featured guest speaker will discuss a "topic of the week" (hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, mental approach, sportsmanship, base running etc...). The guest list will include:
* Dean Borrelli (former 8-year pro player A’s and Rangers)
* David Wendt (current player Tampa Bay Devil Rays)
* Al Mottram (Arizona Diamondbacks)
* Billy Mottram (Chicago Cubs)
* Various other high school and college coaches/players and league coaches
- The ballplayers will run through various drill stations, working on the skills needed to become an effective baseball player.
Cost for the program:10 weeks-$100, 8 weeks-$80 per player
Sunday's Starting February 19th 1-2:30pm
Ages 6-12 are encouraged to attend!!

Serve on the Board of Directors
Like all non-profit organizations, Manchester South Little League relies on the generosity of it's volunteers. Simply put, Manchester South Little League cannot exist without volunteers. There are several Board of Director positions that are still vacant for the 2012 season. The Board of Directors meet monthly throughout the year. If you can fill one of these positions, contact Scott Hartford at president@manchestersouthll.com or 603-858-2152.
Current available positions
Directors-At-Large – The directors-at-large are responsible for fundraising and special events, reporting all activities to the board of directors.
Grounds Manager – The grounds manager maintains the grounds and the buildings throughout the year. The grounds manager must submit a yearly operating budget to the board of directors. The grounds manager schedules pre and post tournament game field set-up volunteers.
Manchester South Little League is now accepting registrations for the 2012 baseball season
Manchester South Little League is now accepting registrations for the 2012 baseball season. The fee is $75.00 for one child. Total for 2 or more children is $120.00. All new players must bring 2 proofs of residency and a birth certificate. Little League has boundaries that are very strict and must be followed. Please check here to make sure that you live within our area. We will be having in-person registration events Modells Sporting Goods in Manchester on the following dates:
Saturday January 21st from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Saturday February. 11th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Saturday March 10th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Saturday March 17th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Attention Coaches & Managers
South Little League is now accepting applications for Coaches & Managers for the 2012 season. If you or would like to be considered for a Coaching or Manager's position please download a Volunteer Application Form from the the website and email it to Scott Hartford or Lennie Hodgkins. DO NOT USE THE 2011 FORM. Even if you were a Manager or Coach in the past you still must register for the 2012 season. Also please remember to include a copy of your license. If you would prefer to mail your application, please mail applications to:
