Lou Ferendo Memorial Golf Classic



It’s that time again, time to start planning another great day of golf and festivities. This will be the 16th year of our tournament, due in large part to your generous support. The tournament was the brainchild and yearly obsession of Lou Ferendo. He dreamed it up 16 years ago. It has since been rededicated the Lou Ferendo Memorial Golf Classic to benefit Manchester South Little League, in his honor. The event will once again be held on the Friday before Memorial Day, May 25, 2012 at Candia Woods in Candia, NH. Lou was extremely proud of his tournaments’ fund raising successes for South Little League and the funding it enabled for many special projects such as lights on the major field, modern bathroom facilities, the batting cage, field fencing and more recently, the new sound system. Lou looked forward to this time of year, every year, as he began preparations for the tournament. The 2011 tournament was a huge success, as usual, thanks to the many volunteers and their tireless efforts. Lou would have been proud and of course wouldn’t have missed a beat in asking everyone to come back this year and do it all over again. So, I guess that task falls on our shoulders this year as we start the wheels turning to bring you another day of golf at Candia Woods. Please join us once again as we continue the annual event that Lou started 15 years ago. Over 80% of last years participants have been with us since the beginning. Below is a link that contains the registration form for your foursome. We are also including a sponsorship form. We would appreciate any help you can give us in obtaining additional sponsors. Please ask the members of your foursome to assist us in this important fund raising endeavor. Thanks in advance for your help and prompt action. As soon as possible - line up your foursome, fill out the registration form, and return it with payment to the address listed. IMPORTANT This year we are limiting the field to 112 golfers. Registration forms including $110 per golfer must be received no later than MAY 1 st , 2012. Commitment must be made to the golf course at that time; consequently this will be a firm deadline. Please plan accordingly and get your foursomes together early.

Your team's coach should have distributed an enrollment card to you.

Please remember to return your My Sports Hero enrollment card to your team's coach or team parent  so that we can schedule their photographers to come to your team's games.

There is NO OBLIGATION to purchase anything. The enrollment card simply means they will come to your game and take photos.

After registering and the photo are taken you'll get a password to view your athlete's photos on their secure website and if you like them, you may purchase a MySportsHero Life-Size Removable Wall Graphics.
