Monday, January 30 Paid for your Candy On-Line Pay for your Candy O-Line The league is offering you the opportunity to not participate in selling the candy but in exchange donate $25 per child to the league, not to exceed $50 per family. The first two children in the league per family will participate in the fundraiser. Three or more children in the league per family will be excused. Parents who choose to sell a box of candy will receive approximately 30 candy items per box. Each candy item will be sold for $2.00 to equal $60.00 per box returned to the league. You will be responsible to sell all items in the box. THE LEAGUE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY RETURNS. Again, the number of boxes will depend on the number of children playing in the league. In order that we may obtain a fair estimate of candy purchases, we ask that you complete the form below and return it with your registration form. Please complete one form per child. We will be allowing parents to pay this fee at registration time or in May when the monies are collected. Thank you for your support with our fundraiser. Congratulation to the Major League Billy's East team for their win in the Central Little League Wooden Bat Tournament. They went undefeated in the tournament (4-0) capped off with a 2-0 victoryover Goffstown on Wednesday. Wednesday, July 27 Sam Harris Tournament The Sam Harris Tournament begins this weekend. The tournament consists of the champs from each Manchester LL playing one another in a double elimination format to determine City champs. Westside LL is the host this year. The skills competition will be held Friday, July 29 at 5:30. East plays its first game on Saturday at 12:30. East has been dominant in the past few years at the tournament. We won it the past 2 years. I hope we can all come out and support Gimas Electric and cheer them on to another championship. All games will be held at Lally Field (near Dairy Queen). Thursday, June 23 East Little league needs your help The East Little League clubhouse has sustained significant damage due to a flood caused by a burst pipe. The building and all it contents, including equipment and the concession stand, have been severely damaged. We are asking for donations to help offset the cost of repairs and the replacement of equipment. If you would like to help please make checks payable to Manchester East Little League and mail them to Manchester East Little League c/o 190 Greenwood Court Manchester NH 03109.
