2010 COACHING REQUIREMENTS
Each Manager & Coach is only eligible to coach in our league and on our complex if the below requirements are fully met;
- Need to attend the approved Little League Safety Course which is held in Manchester in February and again in March. It is mandated by Little League in Williamsport that this course be attended by every coach and volunteer in our league once every 3 years.
- It is mandated by Williamsport that a minimum of one coach from every team in our league attend this approved Little League Safety Course every year.
- Every coach and volunteer in our league must complete and hand in our Volunteer Application Form every year, prior to the start of the spring season.
- Every coach and volunteer must pass a National Background Check which is mandated by LL. These forms are available on our website under the League Forms sections.
- Each coach and volunteer must be in good standings with our league and its representatives. They also need to be a positive influence to the children, parents and representatives of our league.
- Coaches shall collect regular season and All-Star uniforms (if applicable) and equipment in a timely manner at the conclusion of the baseball season and deliver to the Equipment Committee.
- Each coach shall attend and participate in their coaching grounds duties which include; All-Star scheduling and games, fundraising activities, complex cleanups (Feb, March, Nov), clinics and meetings.
- New Coaches in our league shall attend the newly created Coaches Clinic and Player Development Program.
