The below items will briefly explain the fundraisers for the 2010 season.  Your continous support in these fundraisers is what enables us to have one of the finest volunteer Little league Complexes in the state.  If you have any questions regarding the below items, please feel free to speak to any one of our board members for an explanation. PICK 3 RAFFLE TICKETS

Mandatory: This fundraiser is for Pick 3 Raffle Tickets which runs off of the daily NJ nightly pick 3 lottery. Each parent in the league will be required to sell a minimum of 2 of these tickets per player during the month of April. Daily winnings (checks) will be mailed to the parents on a weekly basis and posted on our league bulletin board.  The cost of each Pick 3 ticket is $20 and the profits from this fundraiser will pay for ALL of our umpire costs throughout the season. The prize amounts are; $50 daily winnings, $200 daily winnings during the final week of the raffle and a grand prize Final day winner of $2,000. WEEKLY 50/50 RAFFLES

Optional: We try on most Friday nights and Saturday games to hold 50/50 raffle drawings. Again, without parents and coaches support, these 50/50 drawings would not be successful. These drawings help offset our overall league costs throughout the season. Once again, thanks for your support with this fundraiser and see Sandy Drake for more info on the 50/50 raffle and to also assist her in the selling of the tickets. BLUECLAWS GAME TICKETS

Optional: This is not a fundraiser, but it IS a nice night out for our entire league. Throughout this 2010 season, we will be selling tickets to a Lakewood BlueClaws Game on July 11th. It is a GREAT night out for ALL Manchester Little League players, coaches and parents. We sell the BlueClaws tickets for $10 each (face value). The point of this FUN event is to try and get all of our Little League family to get together as an end of year gathering for everyone. The BlueClaws were nice enough to name that game as the "Manchester Little League Night". The Little League team that sells the most BlueClaws tickets for that event, will be the team that runs out onto the field with the BlueClaws players. Prior to the game, there is also a parade on and around the BlueClaws field with all our Little League players and coaches. A fun time for all! We ask that you support this event by purchasing a couple tickets to this game.  Again, this is optional, but a guaranteed good time for all!!

Manchester Little League at the Lakewood BlueClaws Game is July 11th, with the 1st pitch at 5:00pm.



SUPER 50/50 RAFFLE

Optional: This Super 50/50 raffle was first started four years ago. It has been such a huge success that we decided to run it again this year. The profits from this raffle go directly into our Manchester Little League Indoor Training Facility account. This is how it works. We sell only 200 tickets at a price of $100 per ticket. On Festival Day (in June) one winning ticket is selected and the winner is presented with a $10,000 check right on the spot. The remaining $10,000 goes into our special account. We sell only 200 tickets because we want to keep the odds of winning in your favor. We try and sell all the tickets to Manchester Little League families and Manchester Township residents. For the past four years, the winning ticket has come from a family within our league. This is not a fundraiser that you are obligated to sell or buy any tickets for. However, any assistance you can give us in selling them would be greatly appreciated. Many, many families share the purchase of a ticket, so instead of laying our $100, you can go in with another family for $50 each, or only $25 each if four families go in on one ticket. Last year, we had many teams go in on a ticket. GOLD CARDS

The selling of the Gold Cards will not be part of a MLL fundraiser this year. This was a tough decision our league had to make, but in 2009 we actually lost money because of the lack of interest from our parents in purchasing these cards. Our league needs to outlay $2,000 upfront in order get the various business to agree to be on tha card and then to have the cards printed up. If we don't sell 200 of these cards, then we don't get our initial outlay of money back,. That was the case last year. We have opted to discontinue these Gold Card for the 2010 season because we did not want to make this a mandatory fundaraiser for our parents.



TEAM SPONSORSHIPS

It is the mission of Manchester-Lakehurst Little League to bring the little league experience to as many youth in Lakehurst and Manchester as possible.  Such efforts are not possible without the support of local businesses in the form of sponsorships and other donations.  In this regard we would appreciate your participation in support of our youth.  For the 2010 season, we again have several ways in which area businesses can participate.    

Together let’s make the Little League experience one that the youth of our community will cherish for the rest of their lives.  Please review the below information pertaining to various types of sponsorships.. Our Sponsorship form can be downloaded from our forms sections. Thank You.

Team Sponsorship: $400 includes a Sponsorship of 1 team, a team photo appreciation plaque, an Ad in our Opening Day Sponsor Booklet and a professionally made 4'x8' sign displayed at MLL year round.

Field Sponsor:  $1000 includes a Sponsorship of 1 team, a team photo appreciation plaque, a professionally made sign displayed on your field of choice on the outfield fence, a full page Ad in our Opening Day Sponsor Booklet and special recognition on Opening Day.
