General Info
The Manchester Bears is an unrestricted weight, junior high school football team. We were formed to provide a place for larger kids, who could not make weight in other leagues, a place to play football. Over the years we became the standerd by which many teams at our level were measured.
The Manchester Bears are a member of the Northeast Junior High Football League currently comprised of 18 teams in 2 divisions. Our league is beginning its seventh season and has expended each year. As a league we receive a great deal of support from the vareous high school programs who have come to rely on our teams as strong feeder programs, a tradition we strive to maintain.
The Bears are overseen by a board of directors made up of former coaches and parents. We have many opportunities for parents who wish to volunteer their time so please feel free to ask how you may use your talents to better the Bears.
