Maltby Pony Baseball: Welcome
|
|
MPB is a nonprofit organization and is affiliated with PONY baseball. We play at beautiful Maltby Community Park located in Snohomish County, WA.
Our goal is to provide a complete program with an emphasis on baseball fundamentals, competitiveness and fun. We hope that each and every player will have a great experience and improve each time we get together.
Why PONY Baseball?
Does your child want to play baseball with half a ball? Then why play with half the rules? Do they want to play real baseball? PONY baseball gets your child playing baseball early, the way baseball is supposed to be played. The baseball diamonds fit the player’s age and they play with other players their own age (only 2 years difference). Check us out!!!

Help Wanted!!!
Maltby Park has a number of needs that require a professional or skilled handyperson. Most urgent are Plumbing and Electrician skills, but in the future they see other needs such as HVAC, professional pruning, light construction, etc.
If any MPB members (coaches, parents, Board members) have these skills and would like to be considered, please send your contact information and a brief summary of experience via email to Joel Selling, ECPRD President, at jls@woodscreek.com.
While ECPRD would prefer volunteers or a discounted rate, they believe that if they need to hire someone at full rate, it has advantages for everyone: an MPB member gets to put their skills together for their children’s use, ECPRD gets to direct some of its limited funds back to MPB members, and MPB gets to offer this opportunity as a small “value-add” for some of the members.
