Chili's will donate 10% of the sales to MLLB.

Discount Card Fundraiser
Distribution of cards and order forms starts May 21st. Sales period will run for 2 weeks. Prizes for top sellers and a Grand Prize raffle if the league hits a set sales goal. Many local businesses are participaing. $10 per card, which will pay for itself in just a few uses!

**ATTENTION PARENTS**
The concession stand at Gallivan Lane will remain closed until volunteers step up to help manage/run it. In the mean time, please bring your own snacks and drinks to
games at this location.
The concession stand manager is leaving at the close of this season. We are actively looking for someone to learn the ropes now and take this position over. This is a very important part of the league as it is our largest revenue generator and vital to the success of the league. If you are interested please contact John Guetens at 860 848-1101.
Next monthly meeting is Wednesday, June 6th immediately following the games at the Old Colchester Rd. (MALL) clubhouse. If you have any concerns or more importantly, if you'd like to volunteer for anything, please join us. I can't express enough the importance of having new people come in and shadow the current officers. Many of their children are graduating out of the league this year and these positions will be vacant. Such as League President, Info Officer, Safety Officer, Equipment Officer and Concessions Manager...as well as 4 of the 6 majors baseball coaches. If your kids love baseball & expect to play next year, NOW is the time to get involved.
Major League uniforms provided by the league consist of a shirt, hat and socks.
Minor, Farm, Rookie, and T-ball League uniforms provided by the league consist of a shirt and hat.
Players are responsible for supplying their own baseball pants and rubber cleats.
The league supplies batting helmets to all teams. It is recommended that players purchase their own helmet for the purposes of proper fit, hygiene etc.
Steel spikes are not allowed.
Team Moms will coordinate concession stand duties.
Each family is asked to volunteer in the concession stand during the regular season.
Team moms on the minor league & tee-ball level may be asked to coordinate snacks and drinks for each game.
