Hi Girls,
Sorry I missed the Alumnae Game, but I will be at some games this season. The 2010 Seniors look awesome and we are expecting many fantastic wins this season. Go Dawgs!

| What a great time! It was fun to see everyone at the Alumnae event. The players looked well conditioned and ready for the new season. Players, remember to work hard and listen to your coaches. Parents, enjoy your girls for they grow up way too fast. Best of luck this season! Yes, I will stop by to take pictures again :) |

WOW!!! How fun to see all these former "Greathouse Kids" playing Male Field Hockey---and several of you were "mine". I am so proud of you---your were GREAT six year olds and you continue to be GREAT!!! My daughter was a field hockey player and coach at Male. It has a very special place it my heart. She will be in town next week so we will try to get to your game on Thursday. Keep up all your good work and play hard. GO DAWGS!!!

I just wanted to say thanks for all of the photos because during our OT corner you can clearly see that I hit the CAL girl in the shin with the ball, I then went down on the ground, and the goalie landed on me, leaving the cage open for Jo to score. None of us knocked the goalie down and even if we had, as the CAL girls claimed, their goalie was pretty far out of the cage. Your pictures just prove that we played fair and there was nothing "dirty" about our goal.

| It's been so fun to watch the players grow in this sport and as individuals. Your dedication and determination is second to none. The ride hasn't always been easy, but it has been memorable. My husband often compares the camaraderie of field hockey players to that of sorority sisters; you always have each other's back. To say we will miss field hockey and this program come November is a huge understatement, but we are very grateful for the memories we have created for you and for us. Now, get out there and kick some...rear ends ;) |
