Jacob Cauthen Westbrook, a native son of Madison County and former Madison County RAIDER, was the winner of the 1996 NE Georgia All-Star and the 1996 G.A.C.A. All State Award. He is married to Heather, and when not playing for the Cleveland Indians, he resides in Danielsville, Georgia. His father, Cauthen, played baseball and basketball at The University of Georgia. Jake remains an ardent follower of the Georgia Bulldogs as well as the Madison County RAIDERS. Jake participated in the MLB's Rookie Development Program in January 2000. He was the 21st overall pick in the 1996 Amateur Draft. |
Jake recently shared some of his thoughts about baseball and life with the RAIDERS.
