Departure from LC
I would like to thank all the girls and parents that have been and currently are a part of LC Softball. It is with great sadness that I have decided to leave the LC family, and so many great people. I have always stated that we all must do what's best for our child and that is exactly what I am doing. It has been awesome coaching in 2009 this group of girls is probably one of our best yet. I hope all the best for this team and the LC organization after all I was one of the founding persons. Iwould like to apologize to the girls on the 16U team for not finishing out the season, attempts were made to make that happen on my part but it just wasn't going to work out. So to Gio, Veronica, Miranda, Hannah, Carrie, Lexus, Shelsea, Brittany, Janine, Kayla, Alexis V., and Celeste I truely apologize for not making the Huntington Beach tournament. You will do well with Coach Mark he is a GREAT coach and I am sure he continue the LC tradition of winning for a few more years. It truely is a rare chance to coach for so long with one team and I will take many great memories away with me, and I thank you girls that have been a part of my life for the last 7-9 years!

LC 16U holding try-outs on Tuesday August 25, 2009
LC 16U will be holding try-outs on Tuesday August 25th @ Lions Town & Country Park from 6-8pm. The team is looking for a few impact players and will be playing a high level of competetion in the fall. If you are interested be on time at the try-outs or call Mike Alvarez @ (559) 474-3679.

LC 16U @ 16U ASA "A" Nationals in Sioux Falls, South Dakota!
The girls all played very well, I would like to thank all those that attended and gave their all. Also I would like to thank Bridgette DeSousa, Casey Sumpter, and Victoria Trevino for stepping in and performing well. It was an awesome experience and to see college coaches at every one of our games says alot about our level of play and talent!
