Congratulations to our first ever Madeira Youth Soccer Scholarship recipient! Ellen Bauer! Ellen receives a 1-time non-renewable scholarship to be used towards the her college career at Xavier University!!!
In 2009, Madeira Youth Soccer Board of Directors has decided to award $1000 in Scholarship money to a 2009 High School Graduate who participated in Madeira Youth Soccer and played High School Soccer for at least one year. Our desire is award one $1000 scholarship, but reserve the right to award two scholarships to deserving applicants of $500 each for a total awarded $1000. The Scholarship is a one time payment only and not renewable.

Applicant must use the money for post high school graduate educational pursuits.

Applicant need not be a student of Madeira Schools, but only have participated in Madeira Youth Soccer.
- The applicant must have played at least one year for their High School soccer team.
- Two letters of recommendation must be attached to the application for the application to receive consideration.
- All decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final.
- The Board will select the top essays and contact the applicants for an interview. After the interview, the winner will be selected and notified by a member of the Scholarship Committee, no later than April 1.
- When or if scholarship is awarded, the recipient must participate and allow photos to be published on www.madeirasoccer.com as well as allow it to be submitted to local media/newspapers.
