Rowan opened their season with an inter-divsion win over TCNJ 3-1 (25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 25-21). They then took a 2-1 lead into the fourth set against villanova only to fall 15-12 in a deciding 5th set.

(3/17) Rowan @ BS Abington
...I don't want to talk about it.

(3/5) Tournament @ Lafayette
This tournament will be remembered for one thing and one thing only: the mixtape I painstakingly crafted for the ride up. Sure, there was some so-so volleyball, but O god! how magnificent that mixtape was. The LHU Eagles must have eaten fish for breakfast, because they puked all over the Profs, winning each set 25-15. By defeating a bunch of high school kids in their lop-sided three-team pool, Rowan secured themselves a spot in the "playoffs." The last place teams from each pool (Liberty/Beth and heh.. Lafayette) played a conciliation match. After falling to Kings Alum in three, Rowan looked forward to their own conciliation bout against UMBC, who lost to Lock Haven. Such was not to be their fate, however, and as the net poles on court two were pulled down, so too were the hearts of RU’s players and fans. A tie for third; like kissing your most homely sister.

(2/22) Princeton Goes All 'Ivy League' On Rowan
The Tigers defeated Rowan in four sets (25-22, 18-25, 25-15, 25-23), proving once and for all that the school is good for something other than remarkable college radio. At least one player from the Profs listened to the fine programming on 103.3 wprb for 96 hours straight, trying to get into the head of his embittered rival. In hindsight, the player acknowledges that sleep breaks may have been prudent, though he gloats that his knowledge of obscure indie rock has never been greater. He then proceeded to hum the opening riff to some Velvet Underground b-side while "playing" an invisible guitar and weeping softly to himself.

(2/20) History Repeats in Rowan v. Wadener
Yeahhhhhpp, that's a little Supreme Court humor...get it? Ehh? Heh? Aghhh, you don't care. Rowan swept the Pioneers on Sunday, bringing their overall record to 3-0. Team Prof reaped the benefits of a supportive crowd, which silenced Widener's zany, belly-painted fanbase. All four Rowan fans agreed, however, that the Widener squad was blessed with a true classy nature and better-than-average breath.

(2/12/05) Profs Take Honors @ Seton Hall
In their season opener, Rowan defeated Seton Hall in five games. After watching the Pirates lose to Montclair in four, the Profs avenged SHU with a three to two victory over the Red Hawks. Stated one Seton Hall student after the tri-match, "Arrrr, she was a fine display a' volleybawwl! Ahh only wish mah parrot, Jingo, 'ad been 'ere to see et!"
