The Official website for the Macomb Illinois Little League: Summer 2013 Divisions

Select Season:
Intermediate League (11-13)
Intermediate League is for players between the ages of 11 and 13 by April 30th of this year. The focus of this league is more competitive in nature. The dimensions of the field are a little larger and the rules more closely mirror High School baseball and beyond. Games will be played at Everly Park and will have lighting available if needed. All 12 and 13 year old children will play in this league unless an exemption has been requested in writing and approved by the District administrator. 11 Year old children will be considered draft eligible. Signing up your child to be Intermediate league eligible does not guarantee he/she will be in this league. Teams are selected via draft by our volunteer coaches in accordance with Little League regulations. Children not drafted will be placed on a team in the Minor League.   Participation in the Skills Evaluation held in late March is recommended and encouraged for all children in this age group. Macomb Little League and it's board have no additional criteria for selection to the Intermediate League.

Minor League (9-11)
Minor League is for children who are between ages 9 - 11 on April 30th of this year. Games will be played at the two Patton Park Fields. The focus of the Minor league is to further develop individual understanding of the game and skills with an emphasis on sportsmanship. Teams are divided as equally as possible overseen by a committee of board members who have no children in this age group. Basis for this division is primarily based on the results from the Skills Evaluation held in late March. It is highly recommended that every child in this age group participate in the Skills Evaluation.
