Classroom Session – Held in the Cabernet Indoor Sports Conference Room.  Session will cover the PDP philosophy and its process of identifying players. A slideshow presentation on coordination and psychomotor skills will also be presented.

Phase 2

Friday,  September 25,  6:30pm – 8:00pm

Robertson Park Field 1
1100 Arroyo Road
Livermore, CA

Field Session – The on field session will be assisted by LYSL training staff member Dave Mahabali using players from the 1998-2000 age groups. The session, held under the lights at Robertson Park, will demonstrate the importance of a dynamic warm up, followed by the ACF Fiorentina method of training player coordination and psychomotor skills.

Match Analysis - Creative thinking and intuitive game awareness is an essential part of coaching! We will watch one of Livermore’s top teams play in a Nor Cal State Cup match. A handout of match analysis questions will be provided. All coaches are invited to stay and participate in a match analysis. We will end with a group discussion.
