1961 Newspaper Articles
In 2009, Jeremiah Sundown commissioned a project to commemorate his brother , Robert Wayne Bailey, who recently died of cancer. Mr. Sundown commissinoed a plaque to commemorate his achievements in 1961. The plaque is now hanging at Miller Park. During the process, we researched newspaper articles from that year, and some of them are shown here along with a picture of the plaque.
