The Lynbrook / East Rockaway Soccer Club is a non-profit organization. Volunteers represent the heart of the Club, second only to the children. We are looking for those willing to become active in their community and Club, to assist with coaching, fundraising, and special projects. The Lynbrook/East Rockaway Soccer Club, Inc.
The purposes for which this Corporation is formed are:
To organize, establish, create, and maintain a soccer club in the Lynbrook and East Rockaway Communities;
To promote, foster, and advance in every lawful manner, the common interests and goals of those engaged in soccer and athletic activities of every kind;
To affiliate such Club with other similarly constituted clubs, teams, leagues, associations, and organizations;
To foster and promote interest in soccer and other lawful sports;
To promote and provide social and athletic recreation for its members;
To encourage and engage in organized play and competition with other soccer teams, clubs, leagues, associations and organizations;
To develop those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, fairness and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship;
To promote, foster and encourage interest in athletics and physical exercise and generally to endeavor to improve the health and welfare of its members through the sport of soccer.
