| The San Diego Turbos Baseball Club is looking for dependable, dedicated players for our baseball teams. Age is determined by the players age as of 04/30/2010. Players that have experience pitching are highly desirable. 10U - 14U Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held at Southwest Little League from 10am to 12pm on Sunday, July 26th and Sunday, August 2nd. Please arrive 30 minutes early for registration and warm up. You may also want to bring some water or gatorade for your player since it may be hot. | Go Luckie Waller! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy. Have a terrific season!
