Luckie Waller Little League: Spring 2012 Divisions
Leage age 4 and 5 year old boys and girls hone their skills in a "FUN" division. Feeling down?
Come check these guys & gals out it'll cure what ails you!!!
*League age 6 year olds that have never played may also participate in this division.
Caps A Division
League age 6 and 7 year old boys and girls use a hard ball during play. A pitching machine
or coach pitch is used for the entire season. This division prepares players for the Caps AA Division.
*League age 8 year olds with limited experience may also participate in this division.
Caps AA Division
League age 7 and 8 year old boys and girls use a hard ball during play. Live player pitch is
used for the entire season. This division prepares players for the Minors Division.
Minors Division
League age 9 to 11 year olds work on their skills to prepare for the Majors division. Teams
are drafted for parody each year. Players in this division can be moved up to Majors during the
season if they are eligible.
*League age 8 year olds may request a tryout to participate in this division.
Majors Division
The pinnacle of Little League Baseball. This is the Division that gets all the TV
coverage in August. The best 10-12 year olds play here. *League age 9 year olds may
play in this division if they are drafted and have played Minors at LWLL for 1 year.
Juniors Division
13 - 14 year olds play 54X80 during the first half of the season and then on regulation size
fields the second half. Regulation rules are used or as the kids call it...REAL BASEBALL!!!
Seniors Division
15-16 year old division is formed with other leagues and they get to travel to local areas to play.
Some serious baseball played here!!!
Girls Minors Softball
9 to 12 year olds work on their skills to prepare for the Majors division. Teams
are drafted for parody. Players in this division can be moved up to Majors
during the season if they are eligible.
Girls Majors Softball
The pinnacle of Little League Softball. This is the Division that gets all the
TV coverage in August. The best 9-12 year olds play here.
Girls Junior Softball
13 and 14 year olds playing advanced softball on regulation fields and regulation
rules. The difference is the speed, the girls are real fast here...
