Fund Raising by Working at the Car Wash
Fund raising can be fun as we learned at the car wash in November. We may have been a little wet but we cleaned a lot of cars and made a few dollars in the process. Special thanks to Michelle Chimera for orgainizing the event and our two quality control guys Mike Foley and Tom Ross. Thanks also to the moms who helped out Dawn Campbell, Karen Wurz and Cathy McQuate.
Light The Night Walk for Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma
In October 2007, many of our PA Rush girls participated in the Light the Night Walk for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This walk raises money for patient support and research for those battling blood cancers. Our girls walked two miles carrying red balloons to show their support and hope for a cure. Our team proudly raised $1,870 this year, thanks to the organizing efforts of Dawn Campbell.
