Lehigh Valley Legion Baseball League

The American Legion has sponsored an amateur baseball program for high school aged players for more than 80 years.  During that time, it has built a reputation of being among the best-organized and most competitive youth baseball programs in the country.

American Legion Baseball registers over 5400 teams in all 50 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico.  It is the only program of its type with teams in every state, providing greater opportunity for team travel and competition.

Many American Legion teams host invitational tournaments during the season, providing quality competition in a stuctured format.

The American Legion Baseball website at www.baseball.legion.org lists hundreds of invitational tournaments.  The website also provides the latest baseball news, rule updates, on-line registration forms, tournament rules, coaching manuals, and a host of other information to help teams.

The Lehigh Valley Legion Baseball League was organized in 1941 and consists of 12 teams, representing 21 high schools in Lehigh and Carbon Counties.  It is a voluntary association of baseball teams whose purpose is to promote, in a cooperative endeavor, wholesome inter-community athletic relations among its members.
