 PARKING ALERT

Message from the Sheriff's Office:

I would like to address parking issues at Oscar Cooler Park located in the area of Lutz Lake Fern Rd W and Crooked Lane.  The Sheriff’s Office has received many complaints about people ignoring the no parking signs.  I know that this may not have been enforced in the past but I would like to educate your parents that these signs are there for the safety of everyone utilizing the park and the local residents.  I have surveyed the area and the no parking signs are proper and enforceable. 

I don’t want to write tickets so I am requesting your assistance in educating your participants.  There is absolutely no parking along Lutz Lake Fern Rd W and Crooked Lane .  The fine for doing so is $40.00 if written under the County Ordinance and $98.00 if written under Florida State Statute.  We will be out there regularly enforcing the no parking signs and other offenses.  I hope that we can work together to resolve this problem.

  Park Rules 

  • Only certified, background-checked volunteers are allowed in the dugouts or on the fields.
  • No smoking inside the park, smoking is only allowed in the parking lot.
  • No dogs allowed in the park.
  • No skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades etc., allowed inside the park.
  • No alcoholic beverages allowed.
  • Park in designated spaces in the parking lot
  • No parking along Lutz Lake Fern Road where signs are posted

 

The center of our park has taken on a whole new look!  Our new Dining & Observation Deck is HERE!  Designer Decks of Tampa was gracious enough to construct this NEW centerpiece of LLL and let us raise funds to cover costs!  A few finishing touches still to be done, but imagine having your family or child’s name on a plaque to be placed on our new Dining and Observation Deck!
