Little League International Issues Decision on Composite Bats
As anticipated, Little League has issued a decision, based on safety research, regarding allowable bats. Read their full statement at this link.

Additional clarification for Parents:
If the printing on the bat says it has a composite barrel - or if the umpire has specific knowledge that a particular model of bat is a composite - the bat cannot be used in the Little League Majors Division and below.
The moratorium on composite bats now applies to all baseball divisions of Little League, in both games and practice. It does not apply to any softball divisions of Little League.
