L-S Little League Baseball Invitational - May 19 & 20

The tradition continues - LSLL will sponsor a full weekend of baseball at JC Park and County Park #4, hosting Minor & Major teams from Conestoga Valley, Garden Spot, Manheim Central and Pequea Valley. Games will be played from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Little League International Rules on Specific Nike Bat

Little League Baseball, Incorporated has been informed that Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636 has failed recent performance standard compliance testing. Effective immediately, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BT0636, including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Little League program or activity.

Would you like to get involved in your child's Little League experience,
in some way other than coaching?
 
We may have just the opportunity for you!
 
LL Umpire Patch 
Little League District 23 will be holding their annual umpire clinic on Saturday, March 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Conestoga Valley LL Complex. Anyone thinking of umpiring this year is encouraged to attend.
 
The clinic will cover plate and field mechanics along with equipment and safety concerns for umpires. Whether you are new to umpiring and would like to learn good field mechanics or you have been doing it a while and want to sharpen up your skills, this is the clinic for you. All that is required is a learning attitude and the desire to be an umpire. It should be fun and educational as you will be training right on the field.
 
Conestoga Valley LL complex is located behind Deaf Mennonite Church, 2270 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602. If you will be attending, please notify our Umpire in Chief, Drew Blank at Drew.Blank@herrs.com .

Team and League Sponsorship

The overwhelming support and volunteer effort from parents and the local community make our Little League program a tremendous part of the lives of our children.  For 2012, L-S Little League is offering two opportunities to support the league:

1. Team Sponsorship. Priced at $400.00 per year, a Sponosor's donation helps to cover the anticipated costs of an L-S Little League team for the season. For your $400.00 Sponsorship, your company will be afforded the following exposure:

• Company Name printed on the shirts of one team (12-15 players and coaches). This opportunity is offered on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

• Small (3’ x 1’) company banner to be provided by league, and hung on dugout fence at Jaycee Park

• Opportunity to display your company banner during Opening Day ceremonies.

• Your company logo will be displayed proudly on the L-S Little League website, with a link to your company’s website.

• Recognition in newsletters, LS Little League Facebook page and other L-S Little League publications.

2. League Sponsorship. Priced at $750.00, your donation will support the operating costs of the league and secure your company the following exposure:

• Large (6’ x 3’) company banner hung on the outfield fence at Jaycee Park for three (3) years

• Your company logo will be displayed proudly on the L-S Little League website, with a link to your company’s website.

• Recognition in newsletters, LS Little League Facebook page and other L-S Little League publications.
