Hello, and welcome to our website. We are a U-18 boys' classic soccer team and we play through the Little Rock Futbol Club, the largest and most successful soccer club in Arkansas. We schedule league games through the Central Arkansas Soccer Association and will be playing in the Region III Southern Premier League again in the fall of 2006. We also plan to compete in several competitive tournaments and college showcase events throughout the region this year.

Team Captures U17 State Championship
The LRFC 89 team secured a berth in the Southern Regionals with two hard fought victories over the Sharks 89 team. The first game saw the team build a 3-0 lead behind brilliant play from Trey Briggs and Kaoru Forbess, only to see the lead evaporate from two questionable calls that lead to PKs and a score from the midfielder from the opposing team. The team was able to secure the winning score from a long throw in from Eric Seaman that found Jacob Rutledge in the box for a header for the final score of 4-3.
The second game of the day started with Seaman scoring to spot the team a 1-0 lead. Briggs picking up where he left off with his second score of the day to help the team build a 2-0 lead. The Sharks came back with a late score to make the game 2-1, but could not find the back of the net again. The victory gave the team the Arkansas State Cup championship and an automatic berth to the Southern Regionals.
The team wins the U17 Mens division at the Germantown Invitational Tournament. They turned in a strong performance highlighted by the defense not allowing a single goal in 4 games. The results are as follows:
