Monday, October 6 "Meet and Greet" - Washington Redskins' Players and 93.9 WKYS Broadcasting Live. WHO? You are invited to join the Lamond Riggs Athletic Association Family WHAT? For an opportunity to meet the Board, Coaching Staff, and Players, as well as players from our beloved Washington Redskins team and personalities from 93.9-FM, WKYS Radio. There will be music, autographs, photo opportunities, and training. WHEN? Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. WHERE? Lamond Riggs Recreation Center - on the corner of Riggs Road & Nicholson Streets, NE - Washington, DC 20011 HOW? Make sure to wash your child's uniform on a regular basis and do not share clothing or equipment with anyone else, this includes siblings. All team Moms, coaches and/or parents should have on hand at the field hand sanitizer to minimize the spread of any possible infections. Thanks, Coach Audrey Wednesday, September 10 Message Board Open to Parents Hello LRAA Parents, You asked for it? You got it! Our website has a message board. Just click on the "Message Board" link on the left. This message board is yours and can be used for whatever messages you would like to get out...however family, PLEASE, no cursing, personal attacks, etc. You know the drill. LRAA BUSINESS ONLY Please. Don't rely on this message board for urgent announcements. We should still use our old reliable methods...phone, email, or notes from your coaches. So sign up as a member of this site and enjoy. Also, if you are a camera savy parent that takes pictures of your team during the games...please send them to lraapix@yahoo.com. Every week, as we receive your pix, we will feature on the Homepage of this website, a "Picture of the Week," selected from your submissions. It can be a still shot, action shot, or before or after the game shot of one or more players. As long as it is clear in the picture that you are at an LRAA game. Cheerleader's pictures are also welcome. The criteria for being featured is simple. Whichever picture makes this Webmaster go "Awwwwwwww" (smile) So get those pix in and enjoy the season.
