The LaPorte Family YMCA and Briar Leaf Golf Club have collaborated to offer our summer golf league for boys and girls in grades 5-12. Parents may register their child during any open hours at the YMCA front desk.

The program, which begins the week of June 22, includes instruction and competition, with an emphasis on team golf. The first two weeks of the program will include two instructional sessions per week (5:30-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays). The final six weeks will include one instructional session (5:30-7 p.m. Thursdays) and one match (5 p.m. Sundays).

Teams will be assigned by the course pro and staff according to skill level. Volunteer team coaches and team sponsors are needed. The program costs $80 for YMCA members or $115 for non-members, which covers green fees, instruction and a t-shirt. Clubs, balls and other golf equipment are not provided.
